Pi Day Celebration at MGS: A Fun-Filled Day of Math, Community, and Pi!
March 14th was a day of learning, celebration, and community spirit as MGS hosted a memorable Pi Day event!
The celebration kicked off with rotating math activities held in classrooms, where students had the opportunity to explore the wonders of Pi in a hands-on and engaging way.
After a morning of math activities, everyone gathered for a special Pi Day lunch—complete with delicious pies!
The highlight of the day was the 8th Annual Pi Day Run/Walk, which brought together students, staff, friends, and family for a 3.14-mile event. The event fostered a sense of community as participants cheered each other on and enjoyed the beautiful weather while staying active.
Thank you to the generous contributions from the BAT CIA and Mowrey Auction, everyone stayed energized and hydrated throughout the day.
Here’s to another fantastic Pi Day, and we can’t wait for next year’s celebration!
