Shout out to Mrs. Hancock for continuing to come back to her old stomping ground to educate the 8th graders on her trip to Poland!
Year after year, Mrs. Hancock is invited to help engage my 8th graders when they are beginning the Holocaust Unit and this year is no different. She continues to graciously accept my invitation to speak to my classes about the Holocaust as well as share pictures of her trip at various concentration camps. This yearly presentation helps the students to better visualize and understand the history of the Holocaust and its consequences of cruelty.
